Agape Run Ministry
Poverty is a serious problem in Romania, and any ministry that addresses this issue offers a doorway for evangelism. REMM, through partnerships with people from other countries and Romanians as well, stocks warehouses with food stuffs, clothing, and money that is later distributed to those in desperate need.
REMM has enabled many families to stay together as a family unit because of its support and thus has decreased the burden of abandoned children on the State system. However, distribution of desperately needed goods to poor families is a challenge as transportation and gasoline costs are high. REMM provides basic needs for approximately 100 families in Beuis and the surrounding areas.
Greenhouse Ministry
REMM has provided the property, equipment and training to help Agape Ministry families learn how to grow food using green houses. These families are now supporting themselves by growing and selling the food grown in the green houses. Out of gratitude to REMM, food from these green houses is donated to the ministry for other agape families and the children at Casa Joseph’s.
