Medical ministry was the launching point for the work of REMM in 1989. Since that time,
the ministry has grown to encompass an orphanage (Casa Josef), an outreach to the Gypsy community, the Agape Ministry to the poor and shut-in, a greenhouse ministry, and a coffee house outreach ministry in addition to offering short-term mission opportunities to visitng teams.

Romanian Evangelistic Medical Mission (REMM), is the US not-for-profit organization that is the American partner of RCA.
Ajutorul Crestin din Romania (ACDR), Is the Romanian counterpart to REMM. Translated in english as Romanian Christian Aid (RCA), it is a not-for-profit organization, which supplies basic living needs and encourages communities and villages in Romania to help their own people.
Both REMM and ACDR are involved in medical work, evangelism and helping those in need, including orphans, widows and poor families. It organizes work teams from around the world to assist in these ministry outreaches. Teams help plant new churches, support missionaries both in and around Romania, assist physicians, as well as equip medical clinics and nursing homes. They also purchase land for Christian farmers, supply agricultural equipment, support evangelists and pastors, adopt churches in Romania and distribute biblical literature in hospitals, orphanages, villages, market places, prisons, schools and universities.
